If anyone told you that you don't need to stress about your napkins on your table set up, they lied! Table set up, its the first thing that catches your guests eyes as they walk into your reception venue. No judging here, roll your eyes if I'm wrong, but I can immediately see what tone will be set at a wedding just by looking at the table *insert cringe or excited eyes gasp here* So to add that extra onto your table, here is a few different ways to fold your napkins. I know that most brides have so much on their plates already (no pun intended) with making sure that everything is done and sorted on time. It's a great idea to have a wedding planner that can make sure that all the little details, that you didn't think you would need to take the time to stress about, are done exactly how you would have wanted them. Happy Planning! Kerry xx Hi Pretties If you have to combine the most wonderful time of the year with your wedding day, what would you get? A Christmas inspired wedding with joy and festivities and a whole lot of magic of course. Brightly coloured reds and greens. A magical wedding day, it would definitely be! I cannot resist Christmas inspired themed wedding. Disclaimer: Content below may be disturbing to Grinch's far and wide ![]() A sweet little seating plan, hung onto a tree. Alternative confetti let your guests throw those Christmas bells. You will have everyone getting into the Christmas cheer! Picture Source: Pinterest
Hi pretties
Recently I did a DIY wreath as a backdrop for a shower. It really adds that little extra. It is so very simple. All you need is a mini hula hoop or a larger one, depending on how big of an area you are wanting to cover. I chose a smaller size hoop. Cover it with brown paper, which is cut into long strips. Once the whole hoop is covered, get hold of a long fake flower vine and wrap it around. To add extra rustic, grab some pallets and hang your hoops on there... there you have it. You could paint the pallet white, or whatever you prefer. You can use your choice of paper to wrap the hoop and a different choice of flowers. The possibilities are endless. A whole lot of simple and pretty. Now that Summer actually feels like it's starting to feel like Summer. I thought that maybe some planning couples would need more colour inspiration in their lives! I've been loving simple, white, classic, minimalist looks and feels but coral and periwinkle blue wedding inspiration is right on up there. These colour inspirations are great, not only for your warmer seasons but take them a notch or two darker and you've got yourself the perfect moody hues for your winter or autumn season weddings. Versatile coral and periwinkle blue, who would have thought? Picture Source: Pinterest

Good bye winter, moody hues and dark plums Hello spring, soft pinks and pastels... classic and romantic Take a look at some soft pink palette inspiration. Perfectly on time for warmer weather and wedding season! I always feel that you can't go wrong with choosing a soft pink. It always feels like a classic and won't be going anywhere anytime soon. Whether you pair it with a vintage look or rustic there is an option for any bride. Picture Source: Pinterest
I still can't get enough of this theme. Minimalism, however, this is minimalism with a whole new look. So often minimalist weddings have a lot of grey and green colouring. How fresh looking is it with a neutral palette? This theme really works for the less is more bride. The less fuss the better. Clean crisp linens, soft neutral fabrics, a whole lot of bright whites and neutrals. So easy on the eye. It's important to remember as planning couples that your wedding theme should be part of who you are. Not just what is in the moment and what is trending. Take a look around your living space and use inspiration of colouring or decor from there. Open your wardrobe, what patterns or colours dominate? And no... I'm not talking about the bright lumo! Keep it you, and keep it classy. Make up mood boards of what you like and what you don't like, Pinterest is great for this! It makes life a whole lot easier for your wedding vendors when you show them visual pictures of what it is you love and what it is that makes up you as the couple. Image Source: Pinterest
Stuck for seating chart ideas? Below are a few great ideas from local weddings, whether you opting for a "sit anywhere" with minimal fuss or formal seating charts there is sure to be some inspiration here for you. Don't leave your seating chart to the last minute! This is definitely something you don't want to be stressing over a few nights before the wedding. It is okay to make one or two changes as you go a long towards your day, but as soon as you have received your final number of RSVP's start arranging the details of your seating chart lay out. You don't want to be stressing about table four, seat nine at 3am a week before your wedding. Farm days, horses running wild, warm golden sunsets, the smell of the dew on the long farm grass just before the sun awakes. Aiden and his family own and run the Yellow Sands Caravan Park and have a nearby farm. Aiden is very much a farm boy and completely at one with his lovely wife, Daniella. Aiden and Daniella organised and set up their wedding themselves, right in front of their home overlooking the sea. Such a simple, laid back, intimate wedding. Yet it was filled with so much love and emotion while spending the day, celebrating with their family and friends. The beauty of the natural, wide open spaces, together with their farm surroundings and horses paint and complete their mesmerizing pictures of love. Sometimes we get so caught up in doing, rather than being. During wedding planning this can ring so true. This wedding for me is a simple picture of being. Being in the moment and soaking it all in. Try remember with your wedding planning that it is your special day and if you don't like an idea or another persons opinion doesn't hold value or weight in your life, stay true to yourselves as a couple. Don't go with what is trending or in the moment, adjust your wedding to reflect your individual personalities and styles. "Let a horse whisper in your ear and breathe on your heart. You will never regret it." |
